Rough Diamond Card - pack of 5

Rough Diamond is a departure from my paintings mostly made with latex and acrylic. This piece is done in relief by taping the lines on the surface of the salvaged wood I painted with deep black and blue. The shapes are formed with molding past then treated with latex and lots of water to move the pigment around into the ethereal finish you see here. Pulling the tape revealed the image, a sparkling reflective diamond.
