Introducing the Torn Landscape Series

Most of you know that I launched my Plein Heir collection this year. From the beginning it's been exciting to see each of the series, that make up this collection, taking shape.
This week I finished this bespoke commission for a client and finally feel like my Torn Landscapes have become a series. With another dresser and painting currently in the works, it's fulfilling to see a body of work come to life.
This client gave me free reign to choose the piece and color scheme. I found this gorgeous Hepplewhite style sideboard at a vintage shop and knew this would make an excellent wet bar for a charming bachelor.
I painted the inside the cabinets to give him durable storage for liquor and glasses, and chose colors that are masculine and graphic. As hard as it is to let go of each piece, I'm excited to ship this off to Seattle for my client to enjoy.
