'Rough Diamond' (40x30" on salvaged plywood)  created with several layers of paste, tape and watery paint"][/caption]

I bring a linen print of my painting to my upholstery shop and place the image exactly where I want it. The rest of the chair is covered in my favorite fabric, Robert Allen Alchemy Linen in Zinc. This fabric is excellent for upholstery and both sides are beautiful. The front has a touch of metallic sheen, the back (used here) is flat with a rich neutral finish. The result is a sleek new chair with those charming vintage lines.vintage chair, vintage arm chair, vintage office chair, re-upholster chair, white chair, mid-century chair, Shannon Kaye, custom chair, painted chairThese pieces are one-of-a-kind, so see my shopping page for pricing if you're interested in purchasing this pair.
