Detroit Wallpaper in the House!

Look, you're probably staring at the wall right now anyway wishing you could be home getting ready for Thanksgiving (wish you were packing, or at the grocery store before the crowd, or baking those pies?) Why not entertain yourself for just a bit with one of the most exciting products I've seen come along in a really long time... Check it out:

I'm so excited for Josh and Andi, founders of Detroit Wallpaper- a modern, edgy, inventive wallpaper line customizable colors. That's right, you can pick the pattern you want then choose the colors that work best for your room too! I know! It's made with FSC Certified paper and low VOC water-based paste (do you hear angels singing like I do? AHHHHH)

You have to check it out for yourself, but here's basically how it works:

[caption id="attachment_7139" align="aligncenter" width="376" caption="Choose a pattern you love (this stretched Ikat pattern is one of my favs)..."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_7140" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Then start choosing the colors you want."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_7141" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Notice the color blocks at the top of the pattern? Click on each one to change the color the corresponds to those shapes."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_7142" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="I changed every color except the bright pink... look at the difference! (again with the angels here)"][/caption]

I had so much fun hanging out with Josh on his visit to San Francisco. We had the chance to talk about what inspired him to create Detroit Wallpaper and how his travels and local scenery influenced the collections. I'll share our interview later this week. 'Til then, jump on the site and start playing. I'll be posting my Detroit Wallpaper concoctions on Pinterest- see you there!
