Oh the Places You'll Go... My trip to Vieques Island
Share
This is Interview Week with my "new" format. I decided that rather than cram these cool conversations into one post, I'd break them up over several days so you can enjoy these people and their stories as much as I do. So, without further adieu...
I want you to meet an extraordinary woman, Corky Parker, who welcomed me with wide arms when I arrived at her retreat, La Finca Caribe, on Vieques Island, one of Puerto Rico's small quiet islands in the Caribbean.

Travelers from all around share this space for cooking, relaxing, and maybe even swapping a few stories. It's open air and so inviting you can't help but peak in to see if there's anyone interesting to talk to"][/caption]
Turns out she's lived in Seattle, Washington for many years but also spent a great deal of time in the my stomping grounds, the San Francisco Bay Area. A traveler at heart, Corky brought her children on most of her travels to share her spirit of adventure with them and show them the world. She always dreamed of owning a great little getaway somewhere and boy has she done that! She bought this place about 15 years ago and has been building her dream ever since. Stay tuned to learn more about her journey, my visit to Vieques and see some incredible pictures...
