Big success at the CSL Hillsborough Kitchen Tour

(thanks to Mindy for this photo AND her gorgeous bouquet)
Thanks to the dedicated organizers and amazing volunteers for the Community Service League of San Mateo, the Hillsborough Kitchen Tour enjoyed their 34th successful fundraiser for two invaluable organizations; the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County and StarVista Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center.
For me, the event was illuminating, collaborative and fun from the first to last moment- truly a wonderful group of women and volunteers and attendees and collaborators... I feel honored and grateful to have been a part of it all and enjoyed every second of it.
Especially, the opportunity I had to stage a gorgeous home with a romantic casual setting of my new Plein Heir napkins and these amazing VanIvey ceramic dinnerware designed and handmade by my dear friend and local artist, Kristen Van Diggelen.
Our work looks so lovely together- her mix and match rustic but elegant dishes with my new linen napkins- I can't wait to find another opportunity to bring them together again. (thanks, Kristen!)
I also introduced my new Good Fortune pieces, a set of four dinner napkins and some sweet little bolster pillows (if I do say so, myself).
AND, for the first time, I created a second colorway of an original painting. I thrilled at how this new pillow turned out. So now, you can buy the Torn Landscape 22x22" linen pillow with Kapok insert in blue and orange or blue and yellow.
Pictured here with my pillows and paintings in the stunning home I staged for the CSL Hillsborough home tour, is just one of Mindy Rosenberg's gorgeous floral arrangements. You have to see her work to believe it. She's such an artist with color and flowers. So glad we met at this event and I'm looking forward to working with her again as well. Stay tuned for more workshops and other Plein Heir events to come!
Thank you, ALL, for such a beautiful and worthwhile opportunity to share my work with such lovely people and invaluable cause.
