Painted checker floor
Share
It starts with a plan...
The lots of marking and taping. The squares with a little dash of tape will get black paint next, the unpainted squares get a flat clear coat for protection...
Then I start, checking over and over to make sure I've taped the right edges for the pattern to work...
Progress is slow... every brush stroke brings up sawdust and nails from between the floor boards- drats! I have to dig and vacuum every square before I paint...
But things are moving along.
I work my way around the counter...
and under the bench (this is where practicing upward dog and other low yoga positions come in handy).
Et voila! It's done... I'm heading downstairs now to paint hexagons. Wish me luck.
