Artist Bio
Born in Portland, Oregon in 1967, Shannon’s family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she eventually attended art school and trained as a decorative painter. As an independent artist, Shannon built Finishing Touches, a thriving decorative finishes and wall design business, and created Plein Heir, a line of linen pillows and custom home goods based on her personal paintings plus her Torn Landscape and Good Fortune series’.

Painting on vintage finds
Exploring the untold stories of vintage finds, from painters boxes laden with dried tubes and bent brush bristles, to forgotten school chairs, salvaged plywood, and abandoned dressers... these are the things I look for to add my mark to the memory.
