a Rough Diamond Painters Box with Copper Wash

These one-of-a-kind pieces speak directly to my Plein Heir vision of turning everyday objects into pieces of art. Made for outdoor painters who work in the 'en plein air' style made so popular by the Impressionists, this vintage painters box has it's original leather handle and delicate brass hardware. I added a linen print section of my 'Rough Diamond' painting, washed the exterior in a thin coat of metallic copper paint, and painted the compartments a deep eggplant black for a fresh place to organize anything in your home from jewelry or make up to office or craft supplies.
