Make a Wish...

I wish I'd thought of this! Looks like it's a decal, but I could make stencils... I see this image on large piece of board, a set of them each configured differently, a set with different background colors for each piece, a dark brown, navy, black, or eggplant walls with shading at the edges and this image stenciled across a whole wall... Music and the Tree of Life

A few years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to paint several pieces for a famous musician's local restaurant. The colorful food and prints by artists who've created his album covers were to be in the spotlight, while my work was to add texture and pattern in a neutral palette incorporating a list of about his music. Hm, it seemed daunting at first but I decided to jump in without question and see what might happen... Play it again, Sam: the life of a piano

Many of you know that my mom taught me how to play the piano... I grew up plunking away on a Baldwin Acrosonic spinet, the same piano my Mom's been playing since she was seven years old. It's still in her living room... When I moved to San Francisco, a found my own, a little Grand, through a friend of a friend...
