Saying Goodbye to Calistoga

People say that letting go of a piece of art is like letting go of a child. I'm not totally sure that's true because while I do enjoy creating these paintings- especially those that tell such a personal story- I'm always thrilled when someone else is touched by my work and looks forward to having it in their home. So, I'm very happy to say good-bye to this painting I call 'Calistoga Arch' and hope that the new owner enjoys it as much- even more- than I have. The original is gone, but the image may well turn up in other products coming soon. Here are a few more pieces I've sold recently:

American Made extends voting

So, voting for Martha Stewart's American Made award WAS wrapping up, and while I knew I didn't have the most votes in my Design category, I have been over the moon happy, encouraged, and touched by the positive response- the rooting, cheering and voting I've received!!! BUT WAIT! Martha extended the voting timeframe to SEPTEMBER 22nd! I'll admit, I feel like I was at mile 20 in a marathon only to find out the race is 10 miles longer, but still. I'm happy to keep reaching for this goal. So, please register and vote, vote, vote.

Linen to Linen and Paint to Print

People have been asking me about the creative process behind my decorative pillows.
