I had some friends over for a pancake brunch yesterday. Some were here for the first time, others were doing the usual, walking through my house to see what has changed since the last time they were here. We calculated that I've painted my dining room 8- yes, eight times since I moved here 6 years ago!

Soon after, CertaPro Painters (thank you, Adrienne!) painted my living and dining rooms in exchange for a photo shoot of my space (they're the best!).
THEN Apartment Therapy saw pictures of my bedroom and bathroom and called to shoot my entire house.Now, I had to do something really cool!
Notice, I left a tiny bit of the stencil pattern left over from the last design.. I like creating a sense of discovery and history in a space...
THEN DIY Network called wanting eight paint project videos for their website! We filmed 6 videos in a loft in San Francisco, but had to film two videos in my- you guessed it- dining room. (yes, this is my dining room!)
I painted the room THREE more times in ONE day for one video...

Then I painted the whole room celery green for the last video...
mhmm, this is my dining room too...
I'm just now getting my room back together... for the first time ever, I wanted to paint a room back to the way I had it before. I mean, I've made a few changes, of course :-)
Go ahead, paint your room! Make it colorful or neutral or white to black... just try something new and see how you like it.
